A group purchasing organization, or GPO, is an entity that leverages the purchasing power of a group of businesses to obtain discounted pricing from vendors based on its collective buying power.
A GPO is similar to a “big box” membership club, but without a membership fee or warehouse facility. GPOs work in a similar way. But unlike bulk stores, PAS members pay no membership fees and they are not required to meet minimum purchasing requirements. Members save big on the things they use every day.
